Fat, as in 95lbs, crying on the bathroom floor with a toothbrush in one hand and a razor in the other? Or fat, as in the 12 year old girl who used food as a comfort after being bullied everyday at school because of the way she looked? Sweetie, I hope you keep praying that I get ‘fat’ again. I really hope so, because as of right now, I’m beating you.Obviously when I was ‘fat’, you loved yourself. As I struggled with an ED, I was still considered ‘lesser’ than you in your mind. But now I’m in recovery. Now I’m a healthy weight. Now I’m running miles and lifting weights that I could only dream of lifting. I’m a threat to you, and you can’t take it.
I’m a threat because I’m happy. I love myself. I finally have a healthy relationship with food and there you are, struggling because suddenly I realized that I have worth. So continue to sit at your computer, thinking of ways to try and break me as well as others, in hopes that by making someone else hate themselves, you will love yourself more.
You can’t break me.
